Eligibility for this award are as follows:

The nominee must have served in a Director, Manager, or equivalent leadership position within a Public Safety Communications Agency for at least two (2) years.

The nominee does not need to be a member of NM APCO or NM NENA.

Nominees should demonstrate strong leadership in areas such as:

• Knowledge of communications center operations and staff responsibilities

• Oversight of staff performance and compliance with policies and procedures

• Ability to make sound decisions during high-stress situations

• Maintaining professionalism and supporting a positive work environment

• Building strong relationships with employees, partner agencies, and the community

• Providing leadership and supervision for communications center personnel
