Please complete the form below and attach a document (up to one page) explaining why the nominee should be selected for the Director / Manager of the Year Award.
Eligibility for this award are as follows:
The nominee must have served as a GIS Specialist or in a GIS-related role supporting public safety or emergency communications for at least two (2) years.
The nominee does not need to be a member of NM APCO or NM NENA.
Nominees should demonstrate excellence in areas such as:
Supporting public safety communications through GIS data management and mapping
Maintaining and improving GIS datasets related to addressing, mapping, and emergency response
Ensuring accuracy and reliability of GIS data used in emergency communications systems
Collaborating with PSAPs, public safety agencies, and local governments
Supporting Next Generation 9-1-1 (NG911) initiatives and GIS integration
Providing technical expertise and solutions that improve emergency response operations
NOMINATORS:
All questions must be answered. Incomplete nominations may be disqualified.
